Our Volunteer Coordinator is
urgently seeking an assistant.


JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES: HELP play a vital role in driving the volunteer management program. Be responsible for sourcing donations, recruitment and managing of volunteers, whilst performing administration tasks including responding to emails and networking in the community.

SKILLS:
·          Effective communication: Speaking, listening and writing in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
·          Focusing on client needs: Anticipating, understanding, and responding to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations. 
·         Fostering teamwork: working cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance organisational effectiveness.
·          Organisation skills: setting priorities, developing a work schedule, monitoring progress towards goals, and tracking details, data, information and activities. 
·         Proficiency in the use of computers: including word processing and data base management.

This role will require approximately 8 hours per week, ideally over 2 half days, with most work done off-site.
