Create a stunning portfolio of vibrant colour etchings in this hands on 2 day workshop. Solar plate etching is a quick, simple and nontoxic alternative to the traditional etching process. Use sun and water instead of acids and solvents to etch the plate with remarkable results .

Seraphina Martin began printmaking at the Willoughby Art Centre in Sydney and graduated from the Paris Ecole National Des Beaux Arts, majoring in printmaking in 1977. She was the recipient of the Moya Dyring Studio at the Cite des Arts,Paris in 1988 where she studied at the Atelier 17, under master printmaker S.W. Hayte.
Seraphina's work is represented in many private and public collections and she continues to participate in both solo and group exhibitions in Australia and overseas. She is also a member of the Sydney Printmakers.In 2005 she completed an Artist in Residence in the print department in  the Canberra School of art and in 2011/12 she travelled to India for an artist in residence at the Gov College of Art and Craft Calcutta,teaching Solar Plate Etching and at Kola Bhavan University Shantineketan West Bengal.
